Anyone have experience doing these, looking to get insurance to cover myself for these exams and having no luck finding a company...all want to charge the same rates as regular malpractice

What are people charging these days for IMEs? I'm PM&R/Pain and work with an ortho group. Our practice's rate is $1500 for an IME, but as the only non-surgeon in the group, I'm wondering if I might get some more IME work if I lowered my rate. Thanks!

I spoke w my partner and he says he charges an hourly rate because sometimes work comp can send you like 500 pages to review. His rate is 350/hr. Some companies charge a flat rate at like 1200-1400.
