I was wondering about the relative stigma against IMG's relative to Caribbean school grads...i wnet to saba which i assume is slightly respectable and am a US citizen. I know the stigma is out there just want to know how bad it is hahaha

I am pretty sure that if you go to the caribbean you're considered an IMG so there is no IMG vs Caribbean because caribbean grads ARE IMGs.

Check out the match rates for residency and you'll get an idea on the stigma. the order of success of matching goes as follows:
US grads>Osteopaths>canadians>UScitizens who are IMG's>foreign IMG's.

I do know that the US IMG's have like a 54% match rate, and the foreign IMG's have like a 45% match rate. US grads are like 97%, and osteo's are like 70%
