what do i need?

I thought all you need was just the regular MMR.

depends on the school... Texas Tech really strict on these things... made us turn everything we had in on interview day... then held my acceptance back until i provided tetanus documentation.

Usually pharmacy schools will require additional immunizations on top of the two doses of MMR. Most schools will require three doses of Hepatitis B (given over a 6 month time period), TB skin test, Varicella, and TDaP (tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis). Sometimes, they will also want you to draw blood titers after vaccination to prove that you have immunity to everything.

You should check with the school you want to attend. Some schools may have different requirements and different deadlines. Some schools require you got your hep b vac done before entering while others only require you finish 2 shots first and the third shot can be done during school.

ya, my school requires all of these...getting the Hep B vaccine is annoying cause it takes 6 months and then a month or 2 later u have to do the titer.

some schools require a blood test as well...for some reason thomas jefferson university requires us to get our blood tested for antibodies for measles, etc

i personally dont think it is a bad thing at all even though it is a drag to do all those testings. you are basically protecting yourself from all those possible diseases in the hospital. do you want to work in a hospital and end up getting hepatitis B for example because you are not immunized against it? sure you dont.
