Can anyone point me in the direction of any regulations regarding point of care testing (lipids, glucose, etc) and immunizations and whether a patient has to be in a private area or be divided from other patients in a pharmacy?

I wasn't sure if there are any specifics with HIPAA or any regulations by the CDC. I've looked into it myself and come up short on details. I was hoping someone has more experience with it and would know what the requirements are.

I don't believe that there are any specific legal requirements beyond the standard reasonable effort to ensure privacy as far as HIPAA is concerned. OSHA will have separate requirements particularly if there is an exposure issue (both for yourself and the other patients).
