So I did the pre-req's for the school's of my choice first, and am now in my 1st semester of undergrad. Instead of getting my BS then doing the pre-req's for the program. Is that normal or weird?

Anyways,

I only recieved a 3.2 on my pre-reqs so I was wondering if I should take an "easier" undergrad degree. Do schools look down on you for having a Historoy degree, or Philosophy degree etc?

Does someone with a 3.5gpa in Biology have presidence over a person with a 3.5gpa and has a History Degree?

I don't think any PT school would prefer one major over another. Having a history degree is just as good as any other degree. There is nothing wrong with doing your prereqs first, then getting the degree, or vice versa 🙂

I don't think it matters whether you take the pre-reqs first, last, or throughout your undergrad years. The only potential disadvantage I could think of is that some material might not be as fresh if you took it years ago.

The major doesn't matter either. If you look at this report ( http://www.apta.org/uploadedFiles/A...APTA/PTCAS/PTCAS_ApplicantDataReport_0910.pdf ), you can see all the majors people who applied to PT school had. There isn't any clear advantage of any one major over another. Personally, my undergrad degree was in business economics.
