when do we submit ROLs this year? also, when do we hear where we matched? thanks!

Match Deadline ALL rank lists must be in our office by 12:00 PM (PST).Late rank lists will not be accepted. Applicants may call our office 24 hours after we should have received your rank list in order to get a telephone confirmation.

Match Results Programs and Dean's Offices are emailed match results. Match applicants are generally contacted the same day.
Fri., January 19, 2007
All applicants who do not yet know their result may call our office to receive it directly. Dial (415) 447-0350 and press '0' at the opening menu to speak with a Match Representative (between 8am - 4pm PST).
Results are also mailed to all applicants, programs, and Dean's offices.

Any post-match vacancies which remain after the match will be announced on our Vacancy Information System. We only list vacancies of programs which have indicated that they will accept applications for their unfilled positions.
Applicants who did not match may begin applying to these positions by negotiating directly with the programs regarding any documentation that they require. If the programs ask you to forward your CAS file, use the post-match distribution form to request your application to be forwarded to the program. There is a fee for this service.

CAS Rank List submission opened on December 1. Rank Lists must be finalized by January 10, and CAS Match Day is January 18. Apparently on the morning of January 18 we will get a phone call from the program director at the residency program where we match, and possibly also a phone call from our medical school Dean's office.

so who actually runs the match? is it really the very incompetent sfmatch?
that would be correct. i would not suggest submitting ur ROL at the deadline.
