hey everyone

ok i got accepted at nycom

i have a few questions

if i fail a class this semester, but it will not lower my science/overall gpa below the 2.75 requirement, will this afffect me?

and also i am a double major

is it possible to drop a major or do i have to get both degrees cuz thats what i put on my aacom profile originally

thanks

If you fail a class that is not a pre-requisite for admission then it should not affect you. If it is a pre-requisite, then you need to bring up the grade or find a way to retake it.

As to dropping the major, you should contact the admissions office and ask. Usually applicants are accepted based on the anticipated degree(s) that they will have when they matriculate so by dropping one major you are no longer the candidate that you were when the school accepted you.

Don't risk getting assumptions and misinformation here on something so important. Ask the school directly.
