Important question! For pattern folding, is the pattern on the other side?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I always assumed it was, but then I also keep getting questions from this section wrong, haha.

Is the paper on the other side just blank?
For every practice test I have taken, it states in the instructions right before the section that the side you can see is the outside of the shape when folded...soooo it wouldnt really matter if the other side was blank or rainbow colored since it is going to be on the inside after folded haha

Hey i just realized this to, I thought you could either fold the object by pushing the shapes back or folding them towards you. But now I am realizing that i also get some wrong that clearly are right if both sides of the pattern are "designed". But as Johnnny D stated im guessing the back is the inside of the object. Can anyone else verify this for me?

what you presented is the outside of the object, the shadings, dots, whatever is only on 1 side. the "other side" is to be considered blank.

this is why it is suggested you fold into the paper/screen

Well that helps clearify things, thank you so much.
