hey

i got accepted to nycom and alreyad paid my initial/confirmation deposits

here's my question

i hadnt sent nycom my fall semester grades, in which i had acautlly got an F in a upper level elective bio class

i called admissions to see if an F causes any issues and they said it wasnt a problem if you fail a class that is in addition to hte prerequisite requirements

i then spoke to the assistant director about an F causing any issues, and she first looked at my grades/mcat scores on her computer...she was like "well if you were borderline on grades then it may bring up a red flag, but you have really solid grades so it shouldnt be a problem... " at which i responded, "so overall it hsouldnt be a issue?" and then she responded..."it shouldnt...BUT you should still try to fix it or do soemthing about it or drop it"

so i wanted to ask everyone here.....is there much to worry about??

If you can somehow get rid of it, I would try to do so. Although in your case, you have already spoken to the admissions people and they didn't seem to mind.

Retake the course in the summer.
