I am currently a junior in my undergrad and will be taking my DAT in the next couple of months. I have a GPA of 3.6 and a science GPA of 3.47. I have my community service paid out, am currently doing research, job shadowing, and some other side activities. My important question is that I was unfortunate to get a drunk driving charge my freshman year of college. I am, however, about to take the seat as president of USADD (University Student's Against Drunk Driving). I also do monthly presentations for the kids who are getting alcohol charges, to provide them with more information and tell them that crap that I have had to go through. If I do well on my DAT (which I think I will) and with my GPA and extracurriculars, do I have a good shot at dental school considering my criminal record?
Thanks please post back, this has been stressing me out for months.
