I understand that our intern class will be taking the in-service exam sometime in November. I was hoping that some of the current FP residents might share which resources you used to study for the exam.

Thanks!

I asked the same question when I was beginning the intern year. My answer, now in retrospect, is don't study at all. You will spent 4 months as a physician by the time you take the exam, reviewing Peds, OB, In-patient stuff as you go. The exam doesn't count for anything, just gives the program an idea of your fund of knowledge compared to the rest of FP residents at the same level of training (i.e. not comparing you to 3rd years, only to other interns).

Don't spend extra time studying for the in-service exam. Just keep up with your patients, and you will do fine.
