Include dates on resume?

Hey Guys,

Is it proper to include dates on your resume for particular volunteering activities? For some of the clubs I am in I simply write "Club name" (Fall 2011-Spring 2013). However, I recently volunteered with a non-profit organization providing recreational activities for disabled teens. Should I simply write Winter2012? Or should I include one specific date or perhaps provide number of hours? Thanks everyone!

so i guess any activities which were only 1 day would be pointless...

I'm going to say yes on this one even though I included 1 day activities.

More or less. That's why they tell you to do consistant volunteer activities instead of one and done events

You said resume however. Are you asking about the dental application service AADSAS or a job resume?

I am talking about dental school admission. I am trying to create a resume to use as a reference when applying.
