Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone knows if it is okay/allowed to include future shadowing/dental experiences on AADSAS under "Dentistry/ Shadowing Experience" ? I have a set shadowing/volunteering position in the fall that will be a weekly thing, so I want to include it, but I'm not sure if including future things is allowed. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! 🙂

I wouldn't. Schools have no guarantee that you'll follow through on what you say you'll do in the future (regardless of whether or not you do it) and might look on it poorly.
 
Because it's by month, I don't think that putting June would hurt you at all, assuming you actually do the rest in June. For all they know, you could have shadowed on June 2nd, and you're not lying about the month. I don't know if I would put something like August though.
