Need some help, folks. I'm currently in the process of finalizing my application for PCCM fellowship and had a question about including Grand Rounds presentation in the experience or publication section for ERAS.
Is this advisable? I was discussing with another resident in my program also applying this year and this question came up.
From my understanding, presenting Grand Rounds at least once during residency is a requirement that every resident will perform by the time they begin their fellowships. Adding this is seems like a cheap way to buff up the CV.
On the other hand, it is an academic endeavor which requires a formalized presentation style that typically lasts for an hour, also typically with academic/attending staff being present for CME purposes.
What have you guys seen or done?
