Including non professional work experience on the applications

I work as an office assistant during school months. However, over the summer I work at a fast food restaurant. Is it okay to include the summer work experience on my applications this cycle? Does it hurt my application if I include it?

I'd add it. It won't hurt your application. If anything, it shows you can work in service positions

I think it'll add to your app. Not only do you know how to interact in a service position, but more importantly you know how to time manage. Also, it shows that you weren't just lazing around for a whole summer...
