Interacting With Women in the Workplace
By: Ash Karbasfrooshan
http://askmen.com/money/professional_60/74_professional_life.html

This article talks about the male point of view of women in the workplace. In the article, Ash Karbasfrooshan talks about how unfair the workplace is for women. She stresses this point by talking about how men get paid better than women when they do the same amount to work and that women do not get the same opportunity as men because of their gender. The article also tells how that when women are above men in the workplace that men have to watch there step because if she thinks that the male is questioning her authority then she will get rid of him.

I think that sociological analysis will help the situation by making all of the issues known. Women are not treated with the respect that they deserve, just because they are women. Making less money and receiving less respect is something that women should not have to endure. Women have to work twice as hard as any man has ever had to work because they have to earn the respect of the employer and her co-workers. Sociological analysis would help women because the analysis would allow everyone that does not face this problem aware of it.

By reading this article I realized that women are still not treated equally to this extent. Everyone has the right to be treated equally and there is no reason that women should be excluded. By treating women equally the world would be a better place because there would not be any reason for bickering in the workplace or in the household. I had realized that men had some advantages in the workplace but I was not aware that men get paid more for doing the same amount of work as women.

The author of this article mentions maternity leave in the article. I think that this makes a point for men to get paid more than women or be set at hire positions. If a woman gets time off to give birth to her child and be with her child for 6 months after birth, then a man should get time off to go hunting or fishing or to watch baseball games all summer. I do understand that women need time off for giving birth, but they get to comeback to the same job and make the same amount of money that they were making before.

Let's get this debate going. Let me know what you think about this issue whether you agree with my analysis or not and your reasons. 🙂

Because giving birth to a child and going sporting are soooo much alike..... 🙄

Yeah, clearly the only fair thing to do would be to allow the woman to take as much time off as she wanted -- fully paid, of course -- and hold her position for her until she decides to return. Anything less would simply be holding her uterus against her.
