Ok, so I know each state is different, yada yada yada, and yes I've already seen my state's requirements for applying for a license. My question is would it help to start obtaining all the other information (proof of med school graduation, step scores, etc) now rather than in July, or does it just take forever no matter how prepared you are?

Sorry, my program isn't that rigorous and I'm excited to start getting more experience (and $$$$) by moonlighting. Plus I'm a little bored.

I would definitely allow at least 2-3 months to apply for any given state's medical license. Some states (e.g. Florida) are notorious for taking even longer than this.
