Dr Kasberg told us at my interview that the AdComm is meeting March 2nd and we were welcome to call to check our status March 3rd

Good luck!

yeah, what i was told i think is they do "rolling" admissions throughout the whole post dec first interviews and in march they pool all the leftovers together and send out more acceptances to fill the rest of the spots

Yup, true true. During My interview on Feb 19th Dr. Kasberg told me the same thing. Keep :xf:!!!

has anyone heard anything from IU...I called them yesterday and the told me that their waitlist hasn't changed....does anyone know anything different???

I called today and they said that even though tuesday was the last day for people to put down deposits, they are giving them a couple extra days before they start sending out more acceptances. I'm 5th on the list and she said "your still 5th, but check back in 2 weeks." I'm pretty much going crazy at this point.

did anyone call IU??? I was thinking about calling them this week or should I wait till next week??? what do you guys think???

I think April 1st is the cut off for 2nd deposits. So I am hoping we start hearing something this week or next. I called last week and there was no movement on the out of state list. I also emailed Dr. Kasberg today and asked if anything has changed, but haven't heard back yet. What number are you, if you don't mind me asking?

I am no. 24...hopefully there will be enough spaces opened up after this week....(fingers crossed).

Just a heads up to those who have not called down recently... the out of state list has moved 5 positions. Guess its a start...

Where did you hear this from, b/c i'm #5 and just got an email today saying nothing has changed and it should pick up in a couple weeks?

Haha, now you have me all worried......either i'll be gettin a call pretty soon, or they just gave me an imaginary number to make me feel good.

What is up with indiana and the alternate list? All I heard about from Dr. Kasberg and the threads was how quickly they move through the list and usually go deep into the numbers, yet I haven't heard a word. I've called probably 3 times and they keep saying try back in 2 or 3 weeks. The last time I called (about 10 days ago) the list hadn't moved at all. I feel like it's getting pretty late in the process. Anyone hear anything new?

I called this morning and they told me that there is no change...🙁...

I hear ya on that one. Definitely starting to wonder about that claim myself. I have been calling down for the past two weeks and nothing is moving...

I was accepted two weeks ago and was on the in-state waitlist. I was in the top 5 if that helps.

Anyone have any recent news on the out of state waitlist....I am really getting worried since there is two more weeks left till classes begin....Any input would be greatly appreciated....

is it possible to get an interview at IU with a score below a 18 on one section?

thats weird b/c I called them and they said there are no exceptions. i have even seen some people on predents with scores below an 18 on sections and still have an interview.

i just dont want to apply and get back an email saying i have a score below an 18 and can't interview.🙁

I was offered an interview with both a 16 QR and O Chem. It was my first interview offer.

On Indiana's website I believe it says that you can not have a score lower than 17 as your AA or TS, so you can get a 16 in a science section, but overall you must have an average of 17. I think this is how it works because I personally know people who have gotten in with a TS of 17 (of course instate and with high gpa).

Its mentioned on their website that you cant have less than 18 on RC and less than 17 in AA or TS. So as far as you have 17 or above in TS or AA you will be considered even if you have below 17 in either subsection of science. Not even they have set any min for PAT.
