I understand that the BCP GPA is very important (most important at many schools). As I looked at a friends AADSAS application from last year, I noticed that not only does it show the overall, non-science, science, and BCP GPA's, but it also shows the individual subject GPA's (i.e. physics gpa, your chem gpa, etc). My question:

How important are those individual subject GPA's? Do schools place particular importance on these beyond what they would the BCP?

The reason I'm asking is because my BCP is 3.24 (lowish-end, I know), but the individual bio/chem/physics GPA's are roughly 3.45, 2.5, and 3.85 respectively. Obviously my chemistry GPA is very low. Is it too low? Or does it not matter much because my BCP is ok?

Other info: I got 20+ in both gen chem and ochem on the dat and despite my terrible grades in a few chem classes, I'm actually stronger at that than at bio subjects. Just screwed up I guess! So good DAT scores, good extra curriculars, enough shadowing, 3.5 overall GPA, and a 3.24 BCP. Will I be ok? Will the 2.5 chem GPA be detrimental (such that I should take more chem classes to boost it more)?

Kind long, sorry. But thanks for any help that you can offer!
