Where can I find information about how competitive different residencies are? I thought that I had seen a thread before listing a lot of residencies by how competitive they are but I cant seem to find it right now.

from people ive talked to and things i have read... i dont have any concrete evidence though sorry

derm, integrated plastics >> ortho, urology >> radiology, optho, G. Surg > EM, Ansesth > Ob-Gyn > IM, path > PM&R, peds, FM, psych

ha ha, that's a pretty good list actually!

Keep in mind that some of the "competition" is determined by spots and not scores. That is that EM, Gas, Obgyn, Path, Peds all have about the same average board scores. However there are like 3500 spots for IM and like 900 for Gas.
