Inforsource updating.... USC, UOP, UCLA ???

Hello.

A question for all you who are applying to California schools: Although I've received correspondence through the mail confirming that each of the CA schools have my information and are reviewing my application, Infosource only shows my admission status as "received/application complete" for UCSF. I recognize that it is up to each school to update posts to Infosource but when I click on the link for participating schools it shows that UOP, USC along with UCSF all are using infosource and updating.

Anyone else seeing similar discrepancies between what schools are saying and what Infosource is posting? Are you seeing updates for USC and UOP?

for me at least, infosource is still really really really useless up til now. I haven't learned anything about my status from the site. and even schools that are up to date are not accurate of whats going on!!

That's what I was getting at. It seems useless at this point, at least for me.

I was hoping more people would respond and express whether they were getting updates from the California schools via Infosource.

It seems to me that inforsource will only have info that you will probably have already received directly from the school. UOP called me to invite me for an interview, and only after that did it say so on infosource. The statuts will change on the site, but the school will most likely tell you first.

Yeah, InfoSource updates on a weekly basis, but I was referring to the specific schools.

The schools can choose to give their info once a year, twice a month, or each day, if they wish. InfoSource only updates it each week.
