I submitted my AADSAS application online on Aug 20th. Is it a bad thing that when I check infosource it says "Your application has not yet been processed. Please check back at a later time?" It says on the FAQ that I should be able to log in 5-7 days after I submit my application. Do I need to call anyone or should I just wait? Thanks

check to make sure that you have the correct username and password. If you for some reason enter the wrong one, instead of saying your password is wrong, it gives you the same message, that your application has not been processed.

other than that, just wait longer I guess.

some contact info:

E-mail: [email protected]
1-800-353-2237
or 202-667-1887
or 202-667-9433 main number

ScottW3, I get the same message and I submitted Aug 18th...Let me know when your message changes and I'll do the same. . .

if you submitted on august 20, its probbaly not been processed yet. have you got your packet from aadsas?

Thanks everyone. No, I havn't gotten the packet from them yet. I know I'm using the right login/password. I guess I'll just wait at least until i get the packet. I'll let you know when my status changes drat. Anyone know what schools participate in infosource? Thanks again.

i would not hold your breath about infosource. i submitted my app on may 18, infosource updated once on june 16 to say all the materials were received and sent out to schools, and has not been updated since. i am going on interviews to schools, and infosource says the schools in question haven't even received my app fee yet (the check was cashed a long time ago).

Don't worry at all. I had the same message even though schools had already received my application. In fact, my infosource file hasn't been updated in about six weeks. The best method of monitoring your application is to contact AADSAS and the schools you are applying to directly.

Thanks again everyone. I might call AADSAS at the end of the week just to make sure they got everything with the move and all. I still don't understand why they decided to move in the middle of the cycle. Anyway, thanks again.

Just to note:
UCSF participates in infosource but does not do a good job keeping it up to date. Of the other CA schools, USC does an excellent job of maintaining currency (seems like it's updated almost daily) and UOP does a good job (very regularly).

I haven't got a single update from USC in 1.5 months

i contacted USC, they said that they will start their review of applications later this month, which is towards the end of sept. good luck

I submitted my application Aug 14 and was able to log in to Infosource for the first time today....so just wait about 4 weeks before trying to access it.

Submitted application Aug 18 and still cannot access infosource, for those who want to know...Getting really eager to have my application processed!!! I'm so jealous of those granted interviews! 🙂

Still nothing for me either. The only school who has gotten my app and invited me for an interview is UT (because they don't participate in AADSAS). Hmmm... which process is better?

i submitted my app on aug 9 and now it says "There was some problem accessing your InfoSource data. Please contact Infosource System Administrator at 202-667-9433." when i try to log on..before it would just say my app hasn't been processed yet..what's this all about? when i try to call the line is busy..what a bunch of BS

I posted this in teh AADSAS thread, but it is also relevant to this thread. Aren't you guys jealous of the people already interviewing?!! Right now, the schools don't even know I exist!

I called the 202-number (didn't even try the 1-800 number) and was on hold approximately 20 min. The man was very helpful and gave me the following information:

I applied Aug 18th, and my number is in the 4100s.
They received a plethora of applications in August so the processing time shot up from 4 weeks to 6 weeks.
My application has not been assigned a mailing date, but he expects a date to be assigned within the next few days.

Hope that people out and gives them a reference on where their application stands. Thanks!

Oh, and by the way, I still can't access infosource. 😉

I received mine about six weeks after I submitted my application (which was submitted on June 1st). It might take a bit longer now that they are processing a lot more applications.

Got onto infosource today for the first time. Submitted 8/18.
