What is up with that it has been almost a month since aadsas sent out my package...

Only 2 of my schools participate in Infosource, so first make sure your schools use this tool.

if the schools we apply to aren't using infosource...are we suppose to "pester" them by calling & emialing? 😕
or are we checking our mailboxes 3 times a day for stuff?

That depends on where you are in the application cycle. If it's been a while since your AADSAS was sent out, and you haven't received anything from the schools, then call them.

If it's been ~3 weeks since you returned a secondary, and you haven't heard anything, then call to make sure they received it.

If you've already had an interview then wait until Dec. 1. If you don't hear within a couple days of that, then call the schools.

Don't harass the schools, but by all means take the time to make sure your application is complete and the school has everything that they need.

I have not heard anything yet but some schools have changed the date on the infosource under "most recent update" If I have not heard anything in a while but received emails and letters in the past saying "my application has been given to the admissions committee for review, should I call them? Considering I have not heard anything yet I'm getting a little worried. Two schools however have not received my application yet. What do you think?

Infosource sucks. Don't use it. =)
I was accepted at a school, and it's status under Infosource still said "Application under review or whatever".
