I know this is not a real article, but do many of you residents/students/attendings see this in the ED, or maybe its just not recognized as quick:

All I know is that after long time abuse these people are very sad cases. You can usually spot them from across the ER. They just have that vacant smile and when you talk to them you can see that there is not a lot left upstairs.
