Inpatient PTSD programs?

Hi,

Has anyone worked in an inpatient (not IOP/PHP but fully inpatient) program for PTSD? What were your experiences? I have a student who is interested in this route as a clinician.

These were somewhat plentiful in the VA, especially at the large medical centers, but I haven't seen too many inpatient PTSD programs in the larger community, which is a shame. If they are thinking about that route, VA training would definitely be the easiest way to get a taste of it.
