My situation:
I took the EMT course in a privately owned company that isn't affiliated with any institution nor do they give out transcripts. I passed the exam and my university awarded me 4 credits in place of their own EMT course. How can I input this on the application? The program I took it at isn't a school so I can put it down as another school I took the course in. I can't say I took it at my regular University because I didn't. What can I do now? I will definately have to explain those 4 extra credits on my transcript somehow.

Also, what would be the course classification for an EMT course (HEAL, Edcation, Other?) Thanks!

EMT is "health sciences". Since there are no other options, I'd just list it as a course you took at your university.

I put it under EC's because I used my cert to do other things (TA, ER tech, etc.), so the class was implied. If you just took the class though, just put it under the university you were at at the time, like the other guy said.

I didn't enter any of my pre-hospital education in the "grades" part, the parts I chose to include went in the EC section.

Then again, none of my pre-hospital education came from a university that is listed in the AMCAS list of schools.

I'm wishing I never got the university to grant me those credits so I wouldn't have to explain them at all. This blows.
