Hey all,

I submitted my app a while little ago, but I'm a little concerned with how quickly my professors are writing/sending out my LORs. I don't really wanna ask straight out "have you written/sent my LOR yet". What's a good way to sort of imply that I'd like to know without being pushy? I was thinking of stopping by their offices but then I wasn't sure exactly what to say lol. Also, if some but not all are in(like lets say 3 out of 4 or something), will some schools still look at the application? Thanks in advance

i asked straight up...but i would say like i'm just checking to see the status of my lors...or something like that...i've found that if you don't ask, they'll take their sweet time...at least in my case...if you say you're turning in 4 and only have 3 turned in...the schools might not look at ur app. cuz its not considered complete..plus, if going through aadsas they still have to receive it, process it, and then send it out.....if the schools require these specific letters then they would consider you app. incomplete.... as long as the school's requirement is complete then you are fine but if its not they probably wouldn't look at it...
good luck

yea like some schools require 3 while others might need 4, but as long as for that school the requirement is filled it would be complete while the ones with 4 wouldnt

I'm thinking of just going in there and asking about what they thought of my application and of me as an applicant to dental school and then maybe weasel in something about the status of my LOR
