I wrote this as a post however, i think it would be beneficial to everyone so read it and be inspired by it as you embark on attending dental school, applying to dental school, or with any and all of your endeavours.

Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our greatest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, fabulous, gorgeous, talented? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. You're playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that's within us. It's not just in some of us. It's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we automatically give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fears, our presence automatically liberates others.

Agreed! I may audit the class for my own good. I have been talking to a girl that got in last year and she said you have the option of taking it. It may have changed though. Am I right in my hearing that we take the first part of the boards after our first year?

I don't know. It has been offered to MS / PhD students in the past (when I was doing my Masters) so I don't see how they could do away with it all together. I was under the impression that it just wasn't a requirement for dental school anymore. Not sure though.
