Hi everyone! I've been on the site for a while, but this is my first time posting. I wanted to ask about the Institute for medical boards. There are a couple of older posts on here, but I was hoping for a newer insight as to how well they're preparing people for step. I've also heard that if you really want to benefit from the course, you should go early otherwise it's not as good. Any thoughts?

DO NOT TAKE this program.
It is fraudulent and they PAY medical students to advertise it by using a VERY small sample size. For step 1, out of 10-14 kids from out school, only 1 got over 500 (and he was the one who was paid to advertise it). I got so screwed by doing this program. I studied on my own for step 2 and got over 600.

I'm bumping this thread.. I am looking for a prep course for COMLEX CE. I can't do independent studying anymore.. so a structured class would help. I went to their website but would really like some insight from someone who actually did their program (Step 2 program)

Have you looked into bootcamp? Thats the only program I heard students take if they are struggling. No first hand experience though. I wish you all the best! Keep pushing through!
