Okay - I'm a idiot. First of all, for some reason during the entirety of the primary I thought institutional action was affirmative action, and being a white guy I just said no to all those questions, and was confused how I would've even known that. Anyway, because of this, my verified and sent to school application has NO IA's on it, but when going through secondaries right now and they explain IA in more detail, I realized I totally messed up. My sophomore year I got written up for sneaking a bunch of beer into my room with my roommate and we were put on housing probation for the remainder of that school year. I called the registrar and they said this information isn't on my transcript, but I talked with advising and they say that information stays on a record for 5 years, and that if a school contacted them they would tell them obviously.
Question - what do I do? I feel horrible that I even forgot about the entire incident and the definition of an IA in the first place, but now I feel like I'm screwed. I've heard of people getting their acceptances rescinded and I would have just disclosed this earlier if I didn't mix all this up. I'm so scared right now that I really messed up and I can't figure out what to do next. Please, anyone with ideas or experience PLEASE help me out here. The stress of applying/moving/this problem is adding up and I'm not doin well, any help would be appreciated.
