I was investigated by my University for an academic integrity violation on an exam. I was found in violation of failing to follow test proctor instructions. I have interviewed at one medical school and completed secondaries for six others. I was wondering how this will likely affect my application process. I know that according to AMCAS I have to notify schools I applied to within 10 days, so I'm going to tell them about the incident. I was wondering if anyone here on this forum has encountered similar situations and how they navigated it. How did schools respond?

Note:
-I am still awaiting the final resolution, but I think that institutional consequences will likely be a fine, a reflective essay, and a zero on the exam.
