My college premed committee offers to write applicants a cover letter stating that they completed the premed committee process. It is considered a letter packet, so the committee does not actually write anything about the applicant, just that they finished the committee process.
Unfortunately, I did not realize that the deadline to request this cover letter had passed. How negatively will my application be affected if I do not have this cover letter? My LORs are otherwise very strong, but I am worried that not having the cover letter stating that I finished the committee process will be a massive red flag.
