maybe i'm a little confused by your question, but integrated residents should be just as well trained, if not better, to practice general plastics in any setting. the reason i suggest possibly better is because at the least they have the same amount of training as people who go the traditional route, and integrated residents usually spend at least an extra year committed to plastics training (typical is 3 years) as compared to the 2 years that the independent applicants have.
does that help answer your question?
