This may be a ******ed question but I'd like to be absolutely clear on this. Is the CAS match used for the integrative program? If so, If one missed the deadline of August 1, can one just use the ERAS or is it necessary to sent application material individually to the programs? Thanks.

Actually the CAS is used for getting fellowships after you have completed 3 or more years of general surgery. The ERAS application is what is used for combined/integrated programs where you go straight out of medschool into a plastics residency. So if you are trying to get a combined/integrated residency you would just have to apply using ERAS and not even worry about the CAS.
