So my major (Biochemistry) has 4-year BS/MS program. Basically you complete your regular BS requirements in the first 3 years and spend your senior year doing research and taking grad courses. Fortunately, I'm on track to finish my BS courses in three years and I won't have to double up too much to finish the MS. However, It will make my senior very busy, and I won't have time to do other things for fun, which also could potentially beef up my application (e.g. singing around the world with a well-known acappella group)
Basically, it won't be too stressful to do the BS/MS but I would still lose some opportunities and sleep. Would it help me stand out for MD applications, enough to compensate for the losses?
