Sounds like a lot of fun but I didn't realize that a lot of them don't even get paid for all the work they do!
Hopefully the experience/prestige/publicity makes it worthwhile for these docs.

Do you think that they get "perks" instead of salary. Like season tickets and box seats? Maybe even some athletic gear? Perhaps if the team is from a university they would be considered faculty?
