"The decline in the incidence of cavities has led to increased competition among dentists," says Dr. Dodes. "Dentists, in turn, are seeking ever more ways to make money from their patients."

In every profession you will find folks who throw ethics out the window. Physicians who set up insurance billing scams, attorneys who bilk widows out of their assets, accountants who siphon off company funds , ministers who divert designated charitable contributions to personal use............etc. Some get caught while others escape exposure. In the end, each person must decide for themselves whether or not he or she will conform to ethical standards. Don't flock shoot the group for the actions of a few and always remember the operative guide for any consumer....buyer beware.
