FYI - I found this to be very interesting - it is a report summarizing PTCAS applicant and acceptance data from 2009-2010.
Breaks down by gender, race, age, avg accepted GPA's as categorized by PTCAS - even how many people applied from every university (listed as primary undergrad institution) in the US and how many got in.
Of course, your results may vary (my acceptance totally bucked these trends...), but it might be worth a look:
