Oh I see, thank you so much! I am still unsure of how to request the transcript from JMU...is it the same way I would do it for the UVA one? AKA add JMU to my "Schools Attended" on AMCAS and print out the transcript release form?

I did read through the link you posted but I don't understand completely...for example, what would I put for Start Date and End Date for JMU on AMCAS?

thank you for being so helpful!
The day you started dual enrollment classes and the day you finished. These should be on the transcript, too. You'll need a copy of the transcript so that you can copy the information from your transcript into your AMCAS application including the number and name of the course, your grade and the number of credits.

You'll have to ask people at JMU. Get on their site, call them, stalk them, ask your mom to do it, do whatever you must to get that transcript.

Yes I am planning on calling them tomorrow!

@LizzyM the actual dates are not on my UVA transcript, as it just shows up as "Transfer Credit from James Madison University" along with the number of credits but no grade because it was used just for credit...in your opinion, what is the best way to request the transcript? Have you guys heard of National Student Clearinghouse? It allows you to request a transcript and I can send my transcript release form along with it so would I be able to just sign the form and scan it and send it?
The best way to request the transcript is to call JMU (or your high school to find the program's contact person) and figure out what you need to do to request the transcript.

And the grade you received from JMU will factor into your AMCAS grade calculation even though UVA did not consider them part of your GPA.

@ndafife my friends at JMU said it counted only for credit and not a grade so it would be the same for me, right?
The grade on the transcript at JMU factors into your AMCAS GPA.

If JMU gave you a grade, then your grade factors into your AMCAS GPA.

That is regardless of whether UVa gave you a grade for those credits.

OP - NSC is an approved sender. I just did this last week. It doesn't even give you the option of selecting the mail option once you select AMCAS as the recipient. It asks you for both your AAMC ID and the transcript ID. Mine got to AMCAS and added to my application within three hours of request through Clearinghouse.

You select the school from the drop down menu, update your current address, fill out some other info (student ID number/SSN), select the recipient, enter your AAMC ID and transcript ID, and then pay $8.00. And you do an e-signature.

@wahoowa2017 I do not think so. I do not believe that I had the option to do so. This made me worry that it would not arrive, but it did.

@wahoowa2017 Did not have the option to upload the transcript form that you generate for each school on AMCAS.

Actually, NSC is an approved sender but whether you can send eTranscripts might still be school specific. I had to go through NSC but when I tried to send eTranscripts, I was never asked for my AAMC ID and was asked to type in an email that the transcripts should be sent to. In which case, I had to send paper transcripts and email my registrar the transcript request form so they can send it along with my transcripts.
