I have seen a lot of people on threads for Caribbean medical schools stating that in the Caribbean, the medical students aren't "spoon-fed" like in the United States. It is with sincere curiosity and interest that I ask what is meant by that? The only answer I have pieced out is the fact that you all have to figure out yourselves where you will be doing clinical rotations. That's a -----, I can imagine, but other than that how else are we "spoiled"?

This isn't meant to be a hostile thread at all. Just wanted clarification on a post that I have seen a lot.

its less hostile even without the language that violates TOS (edited as noted by -----). Ive never heard anyone say us students are spoonfed compared to IMGs. If someone has, its really an inaccuracy. ITs easier in most ways to be a a US student from the obvious better opportunites to (usually) better organization with classes and rotations. So yes in that way the path is easier but that doesn't mean "spoiled". US students and IMGs alike should really relax on this issue and some many of the others than wig folks out.
