Interfolio and AADSAS

This kinda relates to a thread a couple of weeks ago that said that we'd be able to send LOR's directly to dental schools this year and not go thru AADSAS. I just called AADSAS and the woman I spoke with had no idea what I was talking about. Their website also says nothing about this. Can you really send LOR's directly to dental schools this year? If so where did you read this? Does anyone know exactly which schools accept interfolio? I've also read about people using interfolio to send their LOR's to AADSAS as a packet (woman also knew nothing about that) and I'm wondering if you had to use AADSAS's LOR matching form as part of the interfolio packet. Any help would be most appreciated (cause I don't think I'm gonna get much from AADSAS). BTW, she said the app would be available May 17th. 👍

i used intefolio last year to send letters directly to schools.

i had my letters there to begin with, and i couldn't trust aadsas not to screw up. and i also wanted to keep the letters in my file for future needs.

yeah, AADSAS wants you to use their service, but remember it is a service. The schools don't care how they get them as long as they have them on file. I felt like it was very convenient to have AADSAS handle it rather than sending 7 copies of everything to each school myself, but then again, I did not run into any problems like others on this site have.

thanks rocknightmare and onetoothleft...underdawg check out interfolio.com...seems like a cool service, especially if your not to confident about getting in the first time round and you want your LOR's available in one central place...like me unfortunately. 🙄
