I have a couple of letter of recommendations written for me last year and I had my professors/supervisors to one extra letter (sealed and signed) each since I ended up not applying for a specific program. I recently opened an interfolio account but I haven't been able to get in touch directly with the people that written my letters... thus I haven't been able to have them upload the letters directly on interfolio. My recommenders have either retired or switched jobs, etc :\ My question is, if I have hard copies of the letter... would I be able to print the cover page from interfolio and send it in with the sealed letters of recommendations?

are the letters specific for med schools?

They shouldn't be. I told them I would want to use the same letter for postbac, internships and medical school (in the future). Of course I can't be 100% sure since I'm not allowed to read them myself lol

probably not a good idea to send a letter that's not specific for medical school.

Terrible idea.

Be resourceful - talk to other faculty, poke around on the internet, etc. Their current contact information exists.

Oh okay thank you! It's just been extremely frustrating since I haven't been able to get in contact with them for over a month... but I'll keep trying!
