Hey folks,

I set my LOR due dates for Interfolio to today. Four are in, one is mailing it in tomorrow, and one is honestly totally MIA.

Will Interfolio still accept letters past the set due dates? I can't find this info in their FAQ.

Thanks!

I don't know, but even if the individual letter entry in Interfolio rejects uploads attempted past the due date, a new entry could be made to allow the writer to upload the letter.

Yes, I thought of that for the one who's planning to upload it, but what about the one who put it in the mail? Would she need a new ID number or something? I don't know what info they're given or how the matching up of letters works.

Honestly the whole purpose of the due date field when requesting the letter is probably just so the request email actually has a due date listed on it. I can't see any benefit (for Interfolio or their customers) to the due date functioning as a cutoff.

That's a good point. That puts my mind a little more at ease. Thanks. 🙂
