Hi everyone

I was wondering for those of you who work as a hospital as a pharmacy intern, how much do you get paid hourly? And do you work part time or per diem?

Thank you!

I was part time/PRN @ 13.50/hr

Started at 11.25/hr, ended at 16.25/hr. Got a raise for each year I advanced through pharmacy school.

It was part-time, I think around 20-hours per pay period. There were other interns that worked more hours.

During school I made $16.50/hr inpatient hospital extern PRN and $16/hr outpatient pharmacy extern part time, different hospitals.

Around $18 + shift differential PRN. Most others in this area are around $15-16 I think

Not an intern but a tech-I work PRN and make $17/hr plus shift diff

I made $12.50 with no opportunity for raises due to PRN status. Worked like 20-30 hours per week but more of a tech than an intern

My first hospital intern position was $13/hr, but I was able to get an intern position elsewhere that allowed me to learn and grow more. That second intern position paid around $21/hr.

Hospital where I work, technically interns are classified as pharmacy technicians, we usually don't have pharmacy students working for us, when we do, they receive the higher end of starting pay for technicians, ~$12.00/hr.
