intern pay for recent pharm school acceptees

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding intern pay. I was accepted to pharm school back in december 2007. a pharmacy manager at one of the rite aids i work for, told me that when they were eckerds, he sent the district manager his acceptance letter and he was not only given the intern pay rate, but he was also back-paid since the date on his acceptance letter (which for him totaled to be ~$4000.

Does anyone know if this is true or some weird urban legend? and specifically, do you know if this is what rite-aid does?

damn, that would be awesome. only way to find out is to ask though, so instead of waiting for answers on this forum i would just talk to corporate.
