Does anyone know anything about this? I want to do Endo at the end of the day and would prefer a residency that is more outpatient based because I feel that it would allow me to learn more about what I will see in the future, but I have seen some programs say their outpatient programs are more for the general internal medicine patient who does not want to specialize. Any input would be appreciated.

Plenty of people do IM-Primary Care residencies and subspecialize afterwards. They prefer people primarily interested in primary care, but you can always just not emphasize your interest in endocrinology.
