I was wondering if i apply to school in states as an international student, what are the chances and would the gpa requirement be different for an international compared to a resident of US?

what are procedures ?

and by the way i am a canadian resident......

THanks

hey fellow canuck (I'm from Ont) yes there is different expectations for international students usually higher GPAs but that's mostly at public pharm schools in the US. If you apply for private schools its more expensive but you'll have better chances. I'm not sure of exact procedures but go to the pharmcas website and read the profiles of the pharmcas participating pharmacy schools... it has great info. G'luck:luck:

Hi everyone, best wishes for all of you.
I have some questions about international applicants.
Currently, I'm a high school student in 12th grade in Vietnam. I'm considering studying medicine in the US. To the best of my knowledge, the majority of US medical schools don't accept international applicants and financial aid is not available to international students.
Do anyone know any medical schools in the US accept international applicants and offer financial aid?
To have a bachelor's degree to meet the requirement of medical schools, which colleges or universities offer such required courses for premedical students? And if I am not accepted to medical schools, do these courses help me switch to any other careers?
Thanks for reading my questions ^^.

I apologize in advance for not having answers to your questions, but I want you to know that I am extremely impressed with your ability to write in English. If English is not your first language, your level of comfort in the language is very high, and is probably better than many native speakers.

This skill will serve you well, and I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors.
