Hi. It's me again lol, I decided to do another thread for this topic. I am thinking about applying to MSW programs and I am from the states. I wanted to apply to Canadian schools and maybe Universities in NZ, Australia, and India ontop of U.S. schools.
I was wondering if anyone here has gotten or is getting an MSW internationally? How does it work? Is it a good idea? Do you know of any good MSW programs internationally?
I want to become a psychotherapist with my MSW, are there any international schools that have a clinical focus? What would happen with becoming licensed, if you want to get your LCSW? Would an international MSW be able to transfer over in terms of getting an LCSW afterwards?
Also, I was looking at Canadian Universities and did not find a lot that allowed people with psychology (or other majors other than SW) degrees in their MSW programs, does anyone know of any that do? (I saw that University of Toronto does) Are there any clinical MSW programs in Canada?
