International Service Learning?

I'm looking for some international opportunities, and International Service Learning was the one company that stood out to me.

Does anyone here have experience with this company? They seem reputable, but I'd like to hear the thoughts of some of the good people from this website.

Okay, I'll even take the advice of the bad members of this forum if they have something to contribute.

I've come across them in my own google searches but never turned up anything from people who had actually done the trips.

What exactly are you looking to do? I did a few international volunteer-type trips in Central America & Australasia (don't even know if that's the right term) and have friends who did some in Africa. All independent companies.

I've gone on some great trips with World Vets Organization and I highly recommend them. I went to Colombia in April and Nicaragua in June and will be going to Tanzania in October. If you have any questions about the organization feel free to ask!

I've been really looking into this too! I was reading some vet's blog once and she mentioned a program called VIDA ( volunteers for internatcultural and diffinitive adventures) They travel to Guatemala, Costa Rica & Nicaragua to host spay & neuter clinics throughout the communites. I plan on doing this next summer or the summer after 🙂 Hope this helps!
