Hi all! I am an international student studying at University of Washington. I am wanting to take some online classes through other universities. The ones I have in mind are Oregon States Upper bio class (ecology) or Oklahoma State's Animal genetics. Does anyone know if students on F-1 visa are allowed to take online courses from other Universities?

And after you finish the course, how does the grading work? Do you have to transfer it back to your primary institution? and do you have to request another transcript from that university to vet school?

Thanks you all in advance! 🙂

Hey! I'm an international student too 🙂 I'd ask your international advisor. I'm sure they would know what to do and help you set up the class as well. I doubt it would be a problem because yo already have your visa.

I took biochem at a different school and I just sent all the vet schools a separate transcript for that one class. I could have transferred it to my main school but I didn't need the credits and it doesn't really matter because you would need to see the transcript from the other school anyways.
